Last Work Day Wear

Belted Cardigan|Ashley Stewart
Faux Leather Panel Pants| Fashion To Figure  (SIMILAR ONES HERE)
Pussybow Top| Forever21  (SIMILAR ONE HERE)

This year is almost over folks. We have two days until the New Year hits. Today was my last day in the office and I decided to put a little more effort in than the last few days!

I got this super cute Dolman Sleeve Cardigan from Ashley Stewart this weekend. It was only sale for more than half the original price. So I couldn't pass it up.
I paired it with some Faux Leather panel Leggings and a Sheer Pussybow Blouse. Simple pieces that still add oomph to the ensemble. I am also wearing some plain black boots with a wedge heel.
Comfortable but chic.

Though the accent pieces were purchased long ago, the links above provide you with similar items at moderate prices.

What's Black, White and Red All-Over??

TOP & SKIRT| F2F
SHOES| Jessica Simpson
HAT| Burlington Coat Factor
BELT & BAG| 9W

Good Morning Fashionistas!!!

I'm such a sucker for Black and White. I don't know what it is about it. I'm just hooked. So here, I put together another Black and White ensemble for church this Sunday. I want a little splash of color so I opted for colored accessories as to not take away from the simplicity of the black and white.

AS FOR MAKEUP!

I kept most of the face pretty neutral but decided to rock a BOLD lip. This lipstick is MELTED RUBY by TOO FACED COSMETICS!

What do you guys think of my simple but classy church look? Is this something you would rock to church?? Where else could you wear something like this?

I always welcome your feedback! Thank you for visiting my blog!

Matchy Matchy Tacky Tacky : Matched Seperates Trend

Hey Everyone!
I'm hoping that this icy Thursday finds you in good health and spirits.
I was surfing through the blogs I follow and I saw a few of my favorite bloggers donning seperates of the same fabric and pattern. I've always loved this look. Pattern on pattern can be overwhelming to some but I just love it. This summer I rocked a few ensembles that bared the same prints through-out.

I've found a few current pieces that are must haves in my opinion. They will be displayed below.
But in the interim, what are your thoughts about matchy ensembles? For it or against it?

Everything is under $200.00 (which is a plus) and there are so many colors of the same style that you have a large variety to choose from. I am doing my damn-dest to not go overboard and spend $1000 on this site. I'm going to have to pace myself and buy one piece at a time.

Have you shopped with MonifC before? What are your thoughts on this collection? Any must haves?
Would love to hear your thoughts!!!

Serial Shopper: This Week's Finds

This week has been a really weird one for me. I haven't felt like getting dressed very much. However, I did do a little shopping.

Ashley Stewart and Nine West had extremely good deals.  I mostly purchased shoes but I did get one item that I'm obsessing over.

Nine West Oxford Heels --NOSTALGIA
$89.00

http://www.zappos.com/nine-west-nostalgia-black-synthetic?ef_id=UUnxHQAABMkcmEzS:20141205172706:s
I saw these Oxfords and had to have them. They were 50% off and I had a $20.00 gift card. They come in plain black leather, black synthetic, black on black fabric (these), navy and brown. Very cute and comfy for Fall/Winter.

ASHLEY STEWART FAUX SHERLING VEST
$59.50

http://www.ashleystewart.com/outerwear-and-jackets-2
This is my favorite purchase this week. The material is so soft and this vest is so comfy! I'm totally in love. I got it on sale for 30 something dollars. It is now only 30% off but still less than the regular price. This is a staple for winter, especially because you can layer and still this so many ways.

BACK ZIPPER MOTORCYCLE BOOT
$64.50
http://www.ashleystewart.com/wide-width-back-zip-motorcycle-boot/402008617080.html#start=4
This ultra stylish, ultra chic riding/moto boot caught my attention because I was looking for a comfy boot with a grunge feel. I also got these on sale for 30 something dollars. They are now listed for 30% off the regular price. I love the buckles and detailing and I love that they zip in the back vs. the side. They also have them in brown.

OVER THE KNEE PLATFORM BOOT
$64.50

http://www.ashleystewart.com/over-the-knee-wide-width-platform-boot/AS-026171_G-UNITY.html?dwvar_AS-026171__G-UNITY_color=black#start=7
I think I fell in love with these boots when I saw them on Chante of everythingcurvyandchic.com.
She stated that they were comfy and of course they are ultra sexy. I had been watching them for a while. So I jumped on them when I saw them on sale. They are a faux suede material. You can dress them up or down. All in all, these boots are EVERYTHING!

CALLEN ANKLE STRAP HEELS
$95.00
(on sale right now for $60.00)
http://www.ninewest.com/Callen-Ankle-Strap-Heels/11141024,default,pd.html?variantSizeClass=&variantColor=JJIC2A0_1&cgid=8346252&prefn1=catalog-id&prefv1=ninewest-catalog

There's nothing more sexy than an ankle strap pump. They make the legs look longer and sexier. I saw these an immediately checked for my size. They come in this animal print, red leather, natural leather and black leather. These are the most appealing and interesting of the four colors. Not sure how or when I'll wear them but it was a deal I definitely couldn't pass up.

This ends my shopping this week. There are so many great deals all over the internet. I hope you take advantage and do a little retail therapy as well.
As always, thanks for stopping by my blog

Thanksgiving Holiday Round Up

Hey Everyone!!
I hope you guys had an amazing Thanksgiving Holiday. I was in the kitchen for a few days so I didn't do much real clothing (sweats and t-shirts at home). I did however snap a few shots on Thanksgiving and the Sunday after!

Faux Fur Vest| Ashley Stewart * Dress| Fashion to Figure*  Fishnets| Torrid

My Thanksgiving look was pretty simple, in that I tried to be comfy but chic because I was going to my boyfriend's family's house. I paired a black dress with ruched detailing with a faux fur vest. To amp it up and make it interesting, I added skull fishnets and skull earrings and a skull studded bag. And then my simple velvet booties.

Sunday evening, I kept it casual with older wardrobe pieces. Because I got them a while ago, I can only list where they are from but I doubt they are still in stock at the particular stores. Anywho, below is the look

Sweater| Torrid *  Skirt| Old Navy*  Belt| H&M * Boots| Diba Shoes

Again, I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday and I hope you enjoy my looks. Leave your feedback and comments. I'd love to hear from you.

Be blessed in the meantime.
XOXO
