O-LIVE-U: Fall Trending...

OLIVE is the "IT color of this Fall Season. It's a color that I overly love. So I covered ALL bases when shopping for Olive Items.

Today, I'm wearing a beautiful draped hi-low Cocoon Dress by Charlotte Russe +
(unfortunately the color isn't available but they do have an equally beautiful color still on their site). My favorite details on this dress ARE the cocoon-like draping at the hips and the wrap front top.
This type of dress can be worn to fit work and play.

I kept the accents neutral here. I choose to add a hat, skinny belt and bootie but you can easily opt out of all these accessories. This dress is immaculate on it's own.

Though not featured here, I love this color with Gold Accents. If I had to style this different, I definitely would pair it with a gold ankle wraped heel, big gold earrings and a gold clutch.

I added this fun duster-like coat for extra dimension and to add another layer in case it's cooler.

Bootie: NineWest

How would you rock Olive?? What's your favorite color of this season???

Fab Fridays: TRAP-eze Queen

Dress: A'Gaci Plus
Boots: JustFab (old)
Jewelry: Eva Mendes for NY&Co.
Hat: Forever21

Happy Friday Folks!!!
Here we are, at the ending of another week.

Today's post features this Trapeze Dress from A'Gaci Plus. For the longest time, I've passed by the A'Gaci Stores in the malls and loved the style of clothes they offered. But of course, not much was available in plus sizes. They were all straight sized items. NOW the times are changing and most stores are upping the ante with adding plus sized departments in their already existing stores.

A'Gaci is very inexpensive and carries trendy pieces. So, the latest in styles is what you'll find.

I love this dress. It can be worn as a flowy tunic or as shown here!
I chose to pair this dress with a chic bootie I got last year from JustFab. Unfortunately they aren't sold anymore. But there are so many options similar.  And what's a fall outfit without a hat???!!!

Above all else, this ensemble is EASY and comfortable to wear. I believe it's a staple in the fall. You can dress it up or down, add a jacket or sweater and many other options.

I love these BOOTIES

What do you think of this Trapeze Dress??

Make them Pieces Hit!

Welcome Back!!! I know it's been a week or so since we've last met up, but here we are. It's October already.
The thing I like most about this time of the year are the rich color options in clothing!!! (Not that you can't wear these colors year round but the availability of options are limitless during the fall)
I think my favorite color combo HAS to be Pumpkin and Cranberry (or a deep burgundy color). I'm all for this pairing in work and play clothing.
With these two colors, the neutrals can be anything (nude, navy, animal print (yes I use animal prints as a neutral).

Here I paired a textured pencil skirt in PUMPKIN with a rich hued Cargo Anorak Jacket. I chose to belt it to give it a little more structure. The shoes and belt are a richer/darker hue of Burgundy to add a bit of dimension and to finish it off, I added Cheetah print earrings.
Totally making each piece hit with the placement and pairings of the other pieces.

I am so HERE for this color combo. What about you??
