Plus Size ShapeWear... MUST-HAVES

Too Often, I find myself in pain in the middle of the day due to the fact that my shapewear is cutting in to my thigh or elsewhere. I love the feeling and look that shapewear gives but why does it have to be so damn uncomfortable?? I have gone through various companies and still found nothing that resembles comfortable. Until now...

I took a chance on the Ashley Stewart Line of shapewear. Not having very high hopes. I mean, I had been let down before. But I was pleasantly surprised. These pieces have to be the most comfortable & breathable line of shapewear out there to date.

Firstly, I love that the pieces are moderately priced. You're not spending $100+ on each piece.

Next, I love that the shorts (something I wear under all my dresses) has a comfort band around the openings of the thighs and stomach. I experience no shifting, bunching or (the worse part of shapewear) the slide-down.

Lastly, these pieces don't cause me to be overly hot. They are made of a very breathable material. It almost feels like I'm wearing nothing. Which is a plus, since it's summer.

If you're someone like me, always on the hunt for the perfectly comfortable but effective shape-wear, these were definitely made with you in mind.

Check them out at www.ashleystewart.com

Valentine's Day Picks- FAB FINDS

Valentine's Day is quickly approaching and I thought, "Why not post some of the outfit ideas I have for that day". I don't really enjoy going out on days like this because of the crowds and what not, but If I were to go out, I would probably choose one of these fabulous outfits.
Keep in mind, I love to dress for holidays in the color of that particular holiday. Of course, Valentine's Day screams red. So most of these ensembles will be RED.

Let's start with

I thought these looks really spoke to my style.

The peplum top is right up my alley with a peak-a-boo bust line. The back shows you off just a bit to get his imagination running. This type of top flatters alot of shapes

The wrap top dress just looks stunning!

Next, we'll visit

These uber sexy dresses will definitely get you noticed.

The Black Turtle neck dress is warm but super sexy. You can dress it up with a bold lip and statement jewelry. Then ANOTHER wrap dress but this one has pleating which, for me, gives the illusion of broader hips (which I need and like)

Sleek Turtle Neck Dress

Draped Oxblood Dress

This dress is simple, flattering to most body types, easy to wear and easy to style.
The skater style looks so flirty and chic. And the detailing at the top makes it sexy.

Cage Neck Skater Dress

I had to throw some pink in there. The pink dress is a standard sheath design but the split brings something else to the table. I also love the square neck and the split in the bossom area.

And THIS RED DRESS. My fave of the whole post. The sweetheard neckline and the off the shoulder detail ooze glamour and sex appeal. You cannot lose with this dress

Ponte Sheath Dress

Keepsake Sculpted Dress

Last, but certainly not least.

This sexy key-hole dress pulls out all the stops. This key-hole body con is made to hug every curve. You'll definitely stop traffic in this one

Key Hole Body Con

These are my picks for a fabulous date night on Valentine's. There's a variety of ways to make these looks work for you. Pair them with neutrals or colorful pieces. Layer jackets and fur on top. Go all out with statement jewelry. Let your makeup make the statement. Either way, the goal is to look fab and have fun.

What are you wearing for Valentine's Day? What are your plans??

*This is not a sponsored post. All picks and opinions are my own. I have not been paid by any company to list these items and I have not been sent anything for free. :)

As always, your comments and feedback are encouraged and I'm glad you stopped by to view my thoughts.
MUCH LOVE! <3

Everything is under $200.00 (which is a plus) and there are so many colors of the same style that you have a large variety to choose from. I am doing my damn-dest to not go overboard and spend $1000 on this site. I'm going to have to pace myself and buy one piece at a time.

Have you shopped with MonifC before? What are your thoughts on this collection? Any must haves?
Would love to hear your thoughts!!!

Oversized Boyfriend Cardis

 IT'S CARDIGAN SEASON!!! FINALLY!
I love fall for so many reasons. I love layering, boots, coats, hats, tights, etc. I think Fall has to be my favorite season especially coming from Miami where there is only hot and hotter. lol.
Cardigans are definitely essential pieces in a fall wardrobe. They can either be styled up or styled down.
I chose to style this over-sized cardi up with separates.

Skirt: Forever21
Signature Cami: Ashley Stewart
Boots: Aerosoles
Belt: Torrid
Hat: NY Street Vendor

This style of cardigan also looks great with no belting and buttons opened. My personal style just usually calls for belting!

I purchased this cardigan from NY&Co. a long time ago. I searched for something similar on their site but to no avail.

However, I did find some affordable alternatives other places.

How do you wear your cardigans?? Do you dress them up or down??

Where do you shop for them?
I'd love to hear your feedback

Painting The Town Red

Dress and Belt| Fashion To Figure
Shoes| BCBG Paris

Well we've made it Tuesday!! So why not paint the town red!!!
Crazy thing is that I purchased this dress from Fashion To Figure about two years ago
and I'm just now wearing it for the first time. That shows you how many dresses I own. lol
The dress didn't come with a belt but as you know, I'm obsessed with belts and accessories so I had to add one. The belt is also from Fashion to Figure and is available online and in stores.

My black pumps are from BCBG. Purchased them from MACY's . It is also the first time I'm wearing them.

Jacket/Skirt/Tank| Fashion to Figure
Jewelry| NYC Street Vendor
Happy Thursday My Loves!
I hope this day finds you with lots of peace and happiness.
As I continue my Fashion to Figure Tribute Week, I chose to break out one of falls biggest trends, HOUNDSTOOTH. I believe it is one of my favorite patterns. Obviously I'm obsessed with Black and White but this pattern just gives me life!

I chose to pair this two piece ensemble with a BLURPLE tank. The two pieces are sold separately, I just chose to wear pattern on pattern because I'm overboard like that.

F2F Week: Jewel Tones

Dress| Fashion to Figure
Belt| Torrid
Jewelry| NYC Street Vendor

Good Morning Lovies!!!!
This week has been a dreary one in NY. Overcasted rainy days. Still and yet I have attempted to shift my mood with adding splashes of color to my wardrobe. Today I went with more of a pool of color versus the splash. lol
.
The Adelle Wrap Dress from Fashion To Figure .
http://www.fashiontofigure.com/catalog/new/plus-size-adelle-wrap-dress.html
The dress features a wrap front (which is great for fuller a bossom) and a tulip hem. It's jewel toned and expressively printed which compliments all skintones. Which I love!!! It's moderately priced ($42.50) which makes it affordable to all. I purchased it in a size 3X.

WIth my accessories, I chose to play up the jewel tones with adding a new tone of blue/turquoise into the mix.

BLACK & WHITE WEEK: Horizontal Stripes

BLOUSE| Fashion To Figure
SKIRT| Old Navy
BELT| Asos Curve
HOSE & SHOES| Torrid
Today's Look is the last installment of this Black & White Series. I love pairing black and white with shades of pink (because pink is my favorite color).

This ensemble features a button front blouse from Fashion To Figure. I purchased it a while ago so unfortunately it is no longer available.

The skirt however was purchased recently from Old Navy. It is now on sale for $15 on-line. I suggest going into the store because I got it for $9.00

My spider web stockings feature the oh so sexy line up the back of the stockings. They were purchased from Torrid. Some say they are a bit pricer but I can count on their hose to last.

My studded patent pumps were also purchased from Torrid. They weren't purchased this year so unfortunately they aren't available either.
