Orange Is the New Black!

Hey Girl Hey (and fellas if you're reading)!!!! I'm glad to be back with yet another look. I know it's been quite some time since I last posted something!
I've been working and thinking of new things to make this blog all the more special. Like a total revamp! So stay tuned for new and exciting stuff.

Moving right along...
Summer is DEFINITELY here! As the weather continues to heat up the need for more clothes seems to diminish. So I'm always on the hunt for the perfect comfy dress. While searching through my Gwynnie Bee closet, I can across these fun dress. I instantly moved it to my priorities and hoped they'd rush shipment. Not only did it come in my favorite SUMMER HUE (ORANGE, of course: But a reddish hued orange), it also had my favorite flared silhouette. I know I would like this dress but I never knew I would love it this month. Being that Gwynnie Bee allows you to try the dress and buy it if you want it (or send it back if you're not head over heels), I thought it would be a win/win situation. Of course I'm keeping it. I've gotten way too many compliments on this dress.

(Side Note: If you want to know what Gwynnie Bee is, Check out this post: Gwynnie Bee Review 2015 )

I chose to pair it with leopard/cheetah accents and plain black kitten heel sandals.
As you can tell, I'm Dangerously in Love with this Dress!!!

Modern Day House Wife Glam

Remember there was a time when women got dressed up and snazzy for almost every occasion. Even house wives looked awesome throughout the day. I wish we could step back into that era (in some ways). Since we can't, I've decided to bring a little of that old school glam into the present day with this fabulous polka dot cotton dress. As simple as it is, it definitely makes a statement but takes minimal effort to wear. The best part of this dress is IT HAS POCKETS!!! I LOVE POCKETS. Super corny but they make me so excited.

I love these types of pieces because more often than not, they look good on almost everyone.
I hope my bit of vintage fab brings a little brightness to your day!

Spring Forward with Spring Colors

Welcome Back!!!

Today is my birthday! Whoot Whoot.

In celebration of my birthday, yesterday I went to the theater. I went and saw "Wicked" on Broadway. I was super excited because I hadn't been to a play in years. With that being said, I had no idea on what to wear for a matinee performance. I'm always the girl that likes to dress up but I know that this was a matinee showing so instead I went with casual and comfy. Thank God I did because I still felt over dressed. People were in jeans! I guess that's the new dress code of the theater.

Anywho, I sported this look to the show yesterday

Today, I wanted to look cute but still be polished for work because it IS my birthday. You can't look cray cray on your birthday. lol
I went with my favorite coat (posted before) and nice sheath dress.

I'm so happy it's spring and we can now rock bare legs and open toe shoes. Spring has to be my favorite season (I'm an April baby. Of course it is.)

As always, I thank you for visiting my blog. I hope you share your feedback and comments.
Until Next Post!

Matchy Matchy Tacky Tacky : Matched Seperates Trend

Hey Everyone!
I'm hoping that this icy Thursday finds you in good health and spirits.
I was surfing through the blogs I follow and I saw a few of my favorite bloggers donning seperates of the same fabric and pattern. I've always loved this look. Pattern on pattern can be overwhelming to some but I just love it. This summer I rocked a few ensembles that bared the same prints through-out.

I've found a few current pieces that are must haves in my opinion. They will be displayed below.
But in the interim, what are your thoughts about matchy ensembles? For it or against it?
