Animal Instincts

Give me animal print everyday of the week!!! IF ONLY!
I love anything that has animal like printing. This skirt is NO exception.
At first, I wanted to add a pop of color with my top but decided to let the skirt shine on it's own.
The most appealing thing about this skirt (IMO) is the cascading peplum detail. It flatters my figure and gives me a more pronounced hip (I lack in the hip area).

What's funny is I purchased a very similar skirt from Ashley Stewart last season and it just didn't fit me correctly. I ended up sending it to a person I had never met before just because she said she wanted it.

With my makeup, I wanted to keep the look monochromatic. I paired a bronze lid color and smokey bottom lash line with a pink cheek. I used ColourPop "Tootsie" lippie stick with NYX "Earth Tone" lip pencil on the lips. Minimal mascara.

A Vintage Flair

Hello Again,
I hope today find's everyone in good health and spirits.

Today I felt like giving the world a little vintage with a modern flair. I am absolutely in love with dresses of this style. Super comfy, it has huge pockets, a huge belt and an a-line flared skirt. The material is strechable cotton which allows me to stay cool. I also love the fun pattern.
While I was in Miami about a week ago, I picked this up out of my mom's closet. She had never worn it and she thought I could get use out of it. SCORE!!!

I chose to pair this with blush accents (earrings, shoes, bag)

I even got a chance to rock my vintage style sunnies. I call these the Coretta's! They remind me so much of the glasses that Coretta Scott King wore and I am always inspired by her (she's my birthday twin ya know)

I got these for my birthday and I just love them!

For Makeup, I kept it super simple.  I went with no eyeshadow but a super strong winged liner. I paired that with a nice light pink lip. It's on of the LA Girl Matte Pigment Glosses (i just can't remember which one).
I'm been so addicted to Milani cheek products that I'm wearing them again. I mixed "Coral Cove" Powder blush with "Coralina" Baked Blush. I dusted a little of The Balm Betty Lou-Manizer above my cheek bones for an added glow.

As always, I thank you for stopping by my blog. All comments and feedback are welcomed!
Have a fabulous day and remember to smile!! :)

Fantastic Florals: Easy Sunday Getup

Dress: Ross| Shoes: Nine West| Jewelry: Street Vendor| Bag: MACY's

I know it's been sometime since I posted, but I've been going through a huge epidemic with my allergies. But Sunday, I got a chance to put on something cute and breezy. I'm ashamed to say I bought this dress last summer and have never worn it. SMH. Ross Stores in the South (i got mine from Miami and exchanged the sizes in Atlanta) have the cutest dresses ever. I paid $24.99 for this dress. A STEAL!!!!!

I kept my makeup simple on the eyes (I was scared my allergies would alter my makeup) and went for a more blushed up look.

I'm wearing three MAC Cosmetics pressed pigments on my lids (Summer Honey, Day Gleam, & Light Touch). No Liner. BSS Lashes and Colour Pop's "Fern" Lippie Stick and matching Lip Pencil. On my cheeks I'm wearing Milani Rose Powder Blush (Coral Cove) mixed with Milani Baked Blush (Bella Rosa). My highlight is also a Milani Baked Blush (Luminoso).

Hope everyone had an amazing Memorial Day Weekend!!!
See you soon
XOXO

Walk on The Wild SIde

Well it's Monday Again!
As we prepare ourselves for our work week, I wanted to showcase this beautiful skirt I picked up from ASOS Curve.

This fun animal print has bursts of salmon, navy and white with a black base. The wrap detail is flattering on almost everyone. I love finding pieces like this because they last season after season. I hope I'm not the only one that's a sucker for anything animal print!

The Makeup!
I kept it simple as always for work. No Eyeliner or Lashes today. Just MAC's Tan Pigment on the lid and on the face for highlight. And Ruby Kisses Matte Lipstick in Capri Orange.

I also tried something new with my eyebrows. I've been using MAC's DipDown Fluid Line instead of my normal pencil. What so you guys think? I think they are a bit dark, but I have to keep playing with it to get it to my liking.

I hope everyone has a great Monday! See you all next post!
Smooches.
